Renter agrees to the following:
● My guests and I will leave the Big Red Barn as we found it and agree that any damages or charges due to additional cleaning needed will be my responsibility.
● I understand that a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the venue.
● The balance of the rental plus the $500 Security Deposit must be paid in full no later than 30-days prior to the event. Security Deposits will be fully refunded if the venue is left properly cleaned and in the same condition as when you arrived.
● I understand that the barn, caterer’s kitchen, bridal suite, bathrooms, and surrounding grounds must be cleaned no later than 11:30 p.m. on the day of my event. This is essential as many events are back-to-back.
● We will use the trash cans, bags and dumpster provided. At the end of the evening, we ensure that all of the trash has been emptied into the dumpster. I agree that no glitter, plastic confetti, plastic flowers, or similar items are permitted on site.
● I understand that my cleaning responsibilities include: putting trash into the dumpster, stacking and placing the tables and chairs as they were upon arrival, cleaning spills off the floor, wiping messes off chairs and tables, and cleaning the surrounding areas outside the barn.
● We will not use tape on the floors, or hammer anything into the walls. We will also not use candles that will drip on the floor.
● Due to local by-laws and in respect for neighbors, I understand that music and loud entertainment MUST cease by 10 p.m. and that property is fully cleaned and vacated no later than 11:30 p.m.
● Due to insurance liabilities and local bylaws, the following are not permitted on the property: inflatables (e.g. bouncy castles), trampolines, and water slides (e.g. slip & slides). Fireworks and firepits are not permitted under any circumstances.
● I understand that in addition to this agreement, I must also sign the Alcohol Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks, and Indemnity Agreement. I warrant and understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that any third-party vendors (caterers, DJ’s, etc.) carry their own insurance and workers compensation policies.
● Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the venue.
●I agree that upon leaving the Big Red Barn, we will turn off all lights and lock the doors and that failure to do so will result in a charge of $100 for each rental day.
●Rental of the barn is daily from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Entering before 10 a.m. or staying after 11:30 p.m. will result in a charge of $150/hour.
●The Big Red Barn has a maximum capacity of 200 guests. I agree that our event will NOT exceed this number, and by doing so, we automatically forfeit our security deposit and risk our event being cancelled.
